We pray for the work of “Caring Hands in the Community” in Chatham as they receive harvest gifts for their work among the homeless and unemployed.

Early Steps – looking at “Helping our Neighbours”        Thank you Father, for all who bring their children for baptism and pray that the preparation this evening would  help parents appreciate the commitment they will be making.

Pray for young people beginning new courses at universities and colleges and especially for those away from home for the first time.

Ruth Johnson and Nina Chance are to be licensed with others at St George’s, Gravesend, on Sunday evening, 7th.   We give thanks to God for the ministry of Pastoral Assistants in this parish and pray especially for Ruth and Nina.

Pray for St Paul’s DCC today as they meet at West Malling Abbey.  It is an opportunity especially for prayer and looking at the “bigger picture”.

Harvest Festival at St Matthew’s and All Saints’.  As we give thanks for God’s rich gifts to us, we pray for those with less than enough and our generous support of the Poverty and Hope Appeal.

The leaders of the children’s groups at St Paul’s meet with Alan this evening, we pray for the Lord’s blessing on work amongst children and that sufficient leaders would be forthcoming.

We give thanks for “Time Spies”, the annual holiday club at St Paul’s.  Please pray for safety, enjoyment and many young people to grow in Christian understanding this week.
