The Mothers' Union is a worldwide organisation for women of all ages concerned especially to strengthen marriage and family life. At St Matthew's there is a long established branch which mets twice a month.
On the 2nd Monday of the month at 2.00pm in the Community Centre, adjacent to St Matthew's Church;
and on the 3rd Tuesday of the month in the comfort of someone's home.
Both meetings run a full programme looking at various issues and interests, usually with the aid of guest speakers, and are open to non-members. For a full programm, please see the M.U. noticeboard in the corridor.
