The Sunday Club meet in the Community Centre from 9.30 – 10.45 a.m. during the Sunday Service throughout each school term. The children are split into three age groups: 3-5/5-7; 7-11 and 11-16 and are taught by an adult leader and helper. We learn about the Good News of Jesus Christ through Bible study, prayer, music and various craft activities. The aims of St. Matthew’s Sunday Club are displayed on our board in the Community Centre. We like to ensure that we provide fun-filled but inspiring and informative sessions. Children from the different groups play an active part during Family Services and we have a music group that is also involved in the Family Services. About twice a year there is a Children’s Parish service in which the children are encouraged to help plan, prepare and take part in. At the end of the summer term, we have a games and b-b-q celebration.
