Groups for Young People
The aim of our children’s
and youth work is to help our young people as they grow up to learn
in an exciting way about being followers of Jesus .
ST MATTHEW’S DAY NURSERY
This nursery is well equipped with qualified staff and modern play material for those aged 21/2 - 5. It has a successful tradition of dedicated care and a happy environment, beneficial for learning. Hours are from 8.45 - 11.45 am during term time and prospective parents are welcome to see the Nursery in action.

EARLY STEPS
The Mother’s Union run this for those with
children of pre-school age. The group meets in church from 2 pm
- 3.15 pm for singing, stories, craft activity and refreshments on alternate

SUNDAY CLUB
Sunday Club and Lazer Group meet in the Community Centre from
9.30 – 10.45 a.m. during the Sunday Service throughout each school term.

THE CHOIR
St Matthew’s has a Choir and welcomes both adults and young people as
members. Anyone interested in singing, please contact Chris
Butt.
An instrumental group regularly plays at Family Services and is open to new members.
THE WEB
This is our Parish wide group for those who are at Secondary School. It meets on Sunday evening from 7.00 pm – 8.30 pm in St Matthew's Community Centre and has a varied programme of events. For further information please click on the Web Youth link: Web Youth Group
