The Mothers' Union
The Mothers' Union is a worldwide organisation for women of all ages concerned especially to strengthen marriage and family life. At St Matthew's there is a long established branch which meets twice a month, on the 2nd Monday of the month at 2.00pm in the Community Centre, adjacent to St Matthew's Church, and on the 3rd Tuesday of the month in the comfort of someone's home.

Both meetings run a full programme looking at various issues and interests, usually with the aid of guest speakers. All meetings and are open to non-members. For a full programm, please see the M.U. noticeboard in the corridor. You are very welcome to join us.

Thursday Club

 		This group is very popular with our senior citizens in the area. It provides a weekly opportunity to meet with new people and a chance to learn something new from one of the many interesting guest speakers. For further details please contact: Betty Mitchell - Tel: (01634) 235507

Home Groups There are several groups meeting in the Parish for Bible Study, prayer and fellowship led by members of the congregation. They meet in the relaxed and informal surrounds of a home and always welcome others who would like to join.

 For those who would like to explore the foundations of a Christian faith that is exciting and relevant to today’s world, this may be a course for you.
Prayer Group A parish prayer group meets fortnightly on Wednesday evenings to pray for the ministry and mission of the churches in the Parish as well as the wider world and individual needs.


The Choir

 		The choir welomes singers of all ages. They sing at the main Sunday Service and the special services which are planned for the festivals throughout the year
