| The Mothers' Union | ![]() The Mothers' Union is a worldwide organisation for women of all ages concerned especially to strengthen marriage and family life. At St Matthew's there is a long established branch which meets twice a month, on the 2nd Monday of the month at 2.00pm in the Community Centre, adjacent to St Matthew's Church, and on the 3rd Tuesday of the month in the comfort of someone's home. Both meetings run a full programme looking at various issues and interests, usually with the aid of guest speakers. All meetings and are open to non-members. Thursday Club
| This group is very popular with our senior citizens in the area.
It provides a weekly opportunity to meet with new people and a chance to learn something new
from one of the many interesting guest speakers.
