Early Steps
| Early Steps is a group for pre-school children and their
parent(s)/carer meeting fornightly at St Matthew's. The group meets
in church from 2 pm - 3.15 pm for singing, stories, craft activity and refreshments on
alternate Tuesdays in term time. We welcome all who would
like to join us. This group is run by The Mothers Union (see Adult Groups) |
St Matthew's Day Nursery
| This nursery is well equipped with qualified staff and modern play material for those aged from two and a half to 5 years. It has a successful tradition of dedicated care and a happy environment, beneficial for learning. Hours are from 8.45 - 11.45 am, every weekday, during term time and prospective parents are welcome to see the Nursery in action. | Sunday Club | Sunday Club and Lazer Group for thr younger and teenage children, meet in the Community Centre from
9.30 – 10.45 a.m. during the Sunday Service. The groups meet during each school term. |
Lighthouse
| Lighthouse is an opportunity for families to meet and explore the scriptures
and Christ's teachings in an informal atmosphere. The group meets on the third Sunday
of each month at 4.30pm. The meeting concludes with a 'bring and share' tea. |

The Choir
| The choir welomes singers of all ages. They sing at the main Sunday Service and the special services which are planned for the festivals throughout the year |
